Terms of Service

1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Finland. For consumers in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence apply in addition to these terms. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Finland, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the mAImate application and related services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. Description of the Service

mAImate is a personal AI assistant (app and services) that provides calendar, memory, health, and other assistance. The scope and features of the service may change from time to time.

4. User Responsibilities

You will use the service in compliance with applicable laws and good practice. You will not use the service for unlawful purposes, harassment, or infringement of third-party rights. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of data you provide in the app.

5. Intellectual Property

mAImate Oy owns the service, brand, and technical solutions. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service or its content without prior written permission.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We will notify you of planned maintenance where reasonably possible.

7. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or losses arising from use of the service. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted under Finnish law.

8. Consumer Rights (EU/EEA)

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have statutory rights that cannot be waived by these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection law.

9. Changes and Termination

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access in case of breach of these terms or unlawful use.
